Google Business Profile Management
Google Business Profile management that puts you on the map and keeps you there.
The map pack is where phone calls come from. Most profiles are half filled in, posted to once, and never measured. We manage yours like the revenue source it is: categories, services, photos, posts, reviews, Q&A and a monthly rank map by neighborhood.
A rank tracker reports one point. The pack is scored from wherever the customer is standing, so we report dozens of points across your service area. The pattern above is illustrative of what a typical first report looks like.
The listing you never finished is the one most customers see first.
Search for almost any local service and the first thing on the page is not a website. It is a map with three businesses on it. Those three get the calls. Everyone below the map is competing for what is left, and a growing share of searches never scroll past the pack at all.
That makes the Google Business Profile the most valuable page most businesses own, and the one they spend the least time on. It was set up in an afternoon years ago, a few photos were added, someone chose a category that was close enough, and it has been running on autopilot since. Meanwhile a competitor across town has 140 reviews, posts every week, lists every service by name, and shows up in the pack for searches your business should own.
We take the profile off autopilot. Google has said plainly that local results are ranked on relevance, distance and prominence. Our management program works all three on a calendar, measures the result across your service area rather than at your own address, and reports it monthly in a form you can read in two minutes.
What Google ranks the map on, and what we do about each one
Relevance
How well the profile matches what was searched. We fix the primary category (the single biggest lever), add every secondary category that applies, list every service by the name customers use, and write the description for the queries that matter rather than for the owner's ego.
Distance
How far the business is from the searcher. You cannot move the building, but you can know exactly where you rank around it. We track a grid of points across your area, find where the drop-off starts and build the content and signals that extend your reach.
Prominence
How well known and well regarded the business is. Reviews and review replies, consistent citations across the web, links to the website, and the authority of that website all feed this. It is the slowest factor to build and the one that keeps you in the pack once you are there.
Google Business Profile Health Grader
Open your profile in another tab and check what is true today. Be honest; the grade is only useful if it is. Nothing is stored and nothing is sent anywhere unless you choose to send it.
Check everything that is true of your profile right now
Twelve checks, weighted by how much each one moves rankings and conversions.
Check what applies and the grade updates as you go.
The grader scores completeness and activity against the factors Google has published. It cannot see your actual rank; that needs a grid report, which is the first thing we run when we take a profile on.
What a month of Google Business Profile management looks like
Management is a calendar, not a one-time cleanup. Here is the standing rhythm on every profile we run. The first month is heavier because the foundation usually needs rebuilding; after that it settles into the routine below, and the report at the end of each month shows what moved.
A post with a real photo and a reason to call. Review requests sent to last week's customers. Every new review answered in your voice within two business days.
New photos or a short video from the field. Q&A checked for new customer questions and answered before a stranger does it for you.
Grid rank report across your service area. Services, products and categories reviewed against what is ranking. Spam and duplicate listings in your pack reported to Google.
Citation audit so the name, address and phone match everywhere. Holiday hours set ahead of time. A short strategy call on what the next quarter should push.
Everything included
- Ownership and access cleanup, including recovery of a profile you have lost control of
- Primary and secondary category strategy, re-checked against what the pack is rewarding
- Full services and products list, each with a description written for search
- A 750-character description built around your actual queries
- Weekly posts, with photos and calls to action, that do not read like a template
- Photo and video program with geotagged, real images from your work
- Review generation: the ask, the timing, the link, and the follow-up
- Review replies in your voice, with anything sensitive routed to you first
- Seeded and monitored Q&A
- Spam-listing and duplicate reports to clean up your pack
- UTM-tagged links so profile traffic shows separately in analytics
- Monthly grid rank report plus calls, direction requests and website clicks from the profile
The profile is half the job. The website behind it is the other half.
A Google Business Profile links to a website, and Google reads that website when it decides how prominent and relevant the business is. A perfectly managed profile pointing at a slow, thin, outdated site is a sports car with a lawnmower engine. That is why profile management on its own works best for businesses whose site is already sound, and why it is built into every local SEO and Google Maps engagement we run.
If you are not sure which situation you are in, the free SEO audit looks at both the profile and the site and tells you plainly. Our own case studies show what the combination looks like when it is done all the way: one of our own businesses holding the map pack, the first organic result and additional listings on a single Google page for competitive bath-remodel searches.
What this normally costs, and why ours is set per market
Industry surveys put the average monthly SEO retainer around $3,200. Ahrefs polled 439 providers and found an average retainer of $3,209 a month, and Clutch's data shows an average of $3,199 a month. Profile management is usually a slice of that, billed on top as a "local" add-on.
We do not publish a fixed rate because the work in a six-competitor suburb and a sixty-competitor downtown pack is not the same work. The free grade above plus one call is enough for us to quote. Full local campaigns at Eye To Ad Media generally run from $500 to $3,000 a month, with profile management included, and standalone profile management sits well below that. Nothing is quoted before we have looked at the actual pack you compete in.

Who this is for
Any business that gets customers from a service area: contractors and home services, dentists and medical practices, law firms, restaurants, auto shops, med spas, gyms, veterinarians, real estate teams and multi-location franchises. If your customers search for what you do plus a place, your profile is a revenue page. If you run more than a handful of locations, see our franchise and multi-location SEO program, which manages every profile from one playbook.
We also work on this for our own market every day: our Denver SEO work for our own companies is where every tactic on this page was tested before it was offered to a client.

Google Business Profile questions, answered straight
Ownership and verification cleanup, the correct primary and secondary categories, a complete services and products list, a description written for the queries you want, business hours including holiday hours, weekly posts, photo and video uploads, seeded and answered Q&A, review requests and replies, spam-listing reports, UTM-tagged website links, and rank tracking across a grid of points in your service area, reported monthly.
Most of those are a post scheduler and a photo upload. The map pack is ranked on relevance, distance and prominence, and only one of those three is touched by posting. We work all three: relevance through categories, services and content, distance through where you actually rank point by point, and prominence through reviews, citations and the website the profile points to.
Nobody can promise a position, and we do not. What we can promise is that every ranking factor Google has published will be worked properly, that you will see your rank across your service area rather than at one address, and that you will know within 90 days whether the market can be won from where you sit.
Distance is one of Google's three stated local ranking factors, and the pack is calculated from wherever the searcher is standing. Your own address is your best-case view. A geo-grid shows the honest picture, and that is the report we send every month.
Yes, as a manager, never as the primary owner. You keep ownership of the profile at all times. If you have lost access, we help you recover it first; a profile that someone else controls cannot be managed.
Profile fixes can move map rankings within 30 to 60 days because Google reads profile changes quickly. Reviews, citations and the website work behind the profile compound over the following months. We report monthly so you can see the curve rather than take our word for it.
Yes, if you want us to. Every reply is written in your voice, never from a template, and anything sensitive is routed to you before it goes live. Replies are a visible trust signal to the next customer reading them, which is why we treat them as marketing copy.
Yes. We are headquartered in Denver and manage profiles for businesses across the United States, Canada and Australia. Local search works the same way everywhere; what changes is the competition in your particular pack, which we measure before we quote.
You keep everything. The profile is yours, the photos are yours, the reviews are yours and the content we wrote stays. There is nothing to export and nothing we hold back.
Yes. Every local SEO engagement includes it, and it is also available on its own for businesses whose website is already in good shape. The free profile grade on this page tells you which one you need.
